Where we are...
North East Derbyshire Organ Society is based in Staveley, Chesterfield, England. Staveley is a small town on the A619 between junction 30 of the M1 motorway and Chesterfield.
A new motorway junction - 29A provides easier and quicker access for those travelling from the south. For those with postcode enabled satellite navigation the postcode of our venue is S43 3UT
Our monthly concerts are held in the Markham Hall, (also known locally as the Miners Welfare) which is situated on the A619 in the centre of the town. Harley's Bar and Restaurant, a noticeable landmark, is directly opposite. The concert hall is warm and comfortable with a stage and licensed bar and although on the first floor, it is served by a lift and can be easily accessed by disabled persons.

Why not come early and enjoy an early evening meal at Harley's Bar opposite our venue before the concert. Alternatively Morrisons' supermarket offers reasonably priced meals or take-away fish and chips are available in the adjacent market square. Overnight accommodation is easy to find in the area and the new Caravan Club site at Pools Brook Country Park is less than a mile away.
