Kevin last appeared here in 2004. On that occasion, having been delayed by a motorway accident, he arrived only minutes before the start of the concert and went on to stun our audience with his performance on our society’s own instrument having never seen it before!
A prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, a Licentiate of The Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of London, Kevin also holds Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees. Don’t miss this opportunity to see and hear a master at the keyboards.
August 20th NICHOLAS MARTIN
For over 20 years Nicholas entertained at Turner’s Musical Merry-go-Round in Northampton making him a firm favourite with the many thousands who visited. Following the closure of that venue Nicholas was quickly engaged to play at nearby Wicksteed Park where he continues to entertain visitors on his electronic organ as well as touring throughout the UK and abroad.
Many will have seen and heard Ian perform at various festivals throughout the country. As well as being an accomplished solo musician, Ian has his own band and, along with his musical partner Richard Bower, he is also well known as one half of the very popular keyboard duo, “Keyklix”.
In contrast to the usual instruments seen on our stage, Ian plays a variety of individual keyboards and pedals to produce a unique range of sounds which have been described by many experts as being unmatched by any single instrument on the market today.
